WALK FROM
        MABLETHORPE
        Sunday 2nd
        September 2007

To
mark International North Sea Trail Day our group organised a 9 mile
        coastal walk.

Setting
off at 10.40 am from the Mablethorpe North End car park, a group of 8
walkers began by walking north through the dunes of the Theddlethorpe
National Nature Reserve to Brickyard Lane. Despite early drizzle and a
cool breeze, the weather improved by the time we reached the beach.

Walking
north along the beach, the beach became a grassy path which was followed
all the way to Rimac. We stopped for lunch at the Rimac car park.

After
exploring the Easy Access Trail, we returned south along public footpath
55 to the Churchill Lane car park. We then headed inland through the
village of Theddlethorpe before returning to our starting point where we
        arrived at 2.40 pm.
